1. HARVEST MOON LEARNING CENTRE

The Harvest Moon Learning Centre is located on the same site of the two-room schoolhouse built in 1898.  The two-room school was demolished and replaced by the current building in 1954. This was the elementary school for Clearwater and surrounding areas until it was closed due to low enrollment in 2001. The Harvest Moon Society purchased the building from the school division in 2003. Since taking over the building, the Harvest Moon Society has made a number of renovations including converting classrooms into a licensed commercial kitchen and dormitory accommodations.
